CHRISTMAS CRANBERRY POUND CAKE | Cake And Food Recipe

Ingredients
For the Cake:

  • 187 grams cake flour-sifted (it’s about 1 1/2 cups plus 3 Tablespoons flour but you better measure it on kitchen scale because the cake could be dense or dry if you overdo it with the flour )
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1cup cranberries (fresh or thawed)
  • 5 oz. white chocolate chunk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter ( room temperature)
  • 300 grams sugar ( 11/2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons browned butter

For Frosting:

  • 1/4 cup butter(softened)
  • 4 oz.cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar (or more to make it thick enough to spread on top of the cake)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extrac

For Garnish:

  • handful dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Slow-Cooker Garlic-Parmesan Chicken

INGREDIENTS 3 tbsp.   extra-virgin olive oil, divided 2 lb.   bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs Kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 1 lb.   baby red potatoes, quartered 2 tbsp.   butter, softened 5  cloves garlic, chopped 2 tbsp.   fresh thyme Freshly chopped parsley 2 tbsp.   freshly grated Parmesan, plus more for serving DIRECTIONS In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and sear until golden, 3 minutes per side.  Meanwhile, in a large slow cooker, toss potatoes with remaining 2 tablespoons oil, butter, garlic, thyme, parsley, and Parmesan and season generously with salt and pepper. Easy Chicken Parmesan Casserole

Ingredients 2 lbs raw chicken breasts, cubed into bite size pieces 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil 25 oz jar marinara sauce 3 cups shredded mozzarella, divided 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided 5 oz bag garlic croutons roughly crushed (leaving some bigger pieces) Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously butter a 9×13 casserole dish. Spread cubed raw chicken in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and basil evenly over chicken. Pour sauce evenly over the top. Combine the cheeses and sprinkle half over the top of the sauce.
